Pitt River Watershed

Everything to do with the Pitt River will be placed into this blog, with links to pertinent sites. One of the main issues that will have profound impacts on the Pitt River Watershed is the proposal to build eight hydropower stations and their associated transmission lines in the
Upper Pitt River The proponent wants to build a power line through the Pinecone-Burke Provincial Park, and many feel that this would set a precedent for even more private encroachment into OUR parks.
There is also a Pitt Lake Blog...

I personally do not believe in any of it, the Mitchell bomber site and the wreckage, should be left alone as a memorial to the crew who died there.
